As you walk through the front door you'll find the stairs straight ahead of you, a bathroom with toilet, washbasin, shower and bidet to your left, with an archway leading to the utility room and kitchen; to your right go through to the small dining room with it's own wood burning stove - snug for those early spring, autumn and winter evenings.

Carry on through the dining room down two steps to the cosy sitting room with a couple of rocking chairs, comfy sofa, tv, dvd, CD player, loads of films, CDs, books, travel guides and information for, and on, the surrounding area.  On through the sitting room to the exposed stone dining room with it's original beams, sloping roof and large patio doors which open onto the terrace.

Here you can dine in style looking out onto Monte San Martino and beyond to the Sibillini Mountains or you can move outdoors to the terrace making the most of the early morning sun for breakfast with views of Santa Vittoria, Monte San Martino, up towards Penna San Giovanni or across to the wonderful backdrop of the Sibillini's - from here you can also nip down to the pool for a quick dip before breakfast!

Returning to our tour we go back into the second dining room which also benefits from a double sofabed with access to the downstairs bathroom (no queuing necessary!).  Going back through the sitting room and to the cosy dining room you'll find the utility area through a short passageway.  The utility area has a large hand washbasin, larders, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and (if you really have to) an iron and ironing board. The Italians are very keen on their recycling and we provide two bins - one for glass/bottles, the other for plastic - there are also paper banks at each recycling point.  Through the utility area and up three steps to the kitchen with loads of cupboards full of crockery, glasses, trays, everything you'd expect to make your holiday as much a home from home as we possibly can.  The kitchen also has large patio doors which open out onto the driveway and give easy access to the pool, bbq, patio and terrace areas.

Upstairs you'll find two large double bedrooms, both with mosquito nets, a smaller bunk-bedded room and the main bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. Not forgetting the fireplace on the landing - just in case the nights get very, very cold!

In addition, there is a fully self-contained apartment (the cantina) sleeping 2 with full kitchen, bathroom (with shower), dining area and twin beds.  this is situated underneath the main terrace and right beside the pool.

Casa Carlo benefits from mains gas for both hot water and central heating; has running water and even electricity! A plentiful supply of logs is always available for the stufa (wood-burning stove).
